Every Tuesday, from mid-April to mid-October, from 10:00-17:00, a market is held on the lakeshore of Ascona, directly in front of the Hotel Carcani.
The numerous stalls offer a wide range of products that satisfy the desires of the diverse clientele.
Local handicrafts are well represented, with handicrafts made of products from the region, from goods made of wool to those made of wood, to accessories and pieces made of the famous Ticino granite, very famous in the history of architecture and art. Of course, there are also the culinary products to buy or taste on the spot: Desserts of all kinds, vegetarian pastries, cheeses, cold cuts and much more.
During the JazzAscona Music Festival, the market can be found near the parking garage.
