Best breakfast at the Piazza in Ascona

Starting at the breakfast we pull out all the stops. Crunchy bread, delicate cereal, delicious meat and fish specialties, freshly made egg dishes, colourful fruits and good smelling coffee transform every morning in the Albergo Carcani into a delightful experience. When the weather is nice we also serve our breakfast on our noble sun patio.

The menu provides a mix of delicious Italian dishes as well as snacks, salads, aperitifs and pizzas in black and white. The bestseller of Tommy and Ketty is risotto flambè. The recipe of our pizza is a family secret. The dough is getting kneaded and has to stand for 48 hours in order to get even softer than it already is. It is getting more digestible and crisply, also in the version including charcoal, known as „black pizza“. Furthermore, there is a appetizing range of cakes and tarts from the Carcani patisserie. In the summer there is also a huge variety of ice cream for the rather sweet consumption. It would be a pleasure to advise you in your wine choice. The wine menu included regional wine as well as exquisite wines from Italy. Get yourself a place on the patio and enjoy the atmosphere on the Piazza with the shining Lago Maggiore at your feet.
